| You may choose to search the catalog by Keyword, Author, Title, or Subject. If a specific author, title, or subject heading is not known, keyword searching is the best option for finding a list of items on a particular topic. For example, to find information on breast cancer treatment, you might try keyword searching "breast and treatment," or for information on helping children cope, you might try "children and coping." You may save individual items to the clipboard to create your own bibliography of items.
Our library catalog includes books, CDs, videos, and DVDs, all of which may be checked out for a period of time, as within the public library. There are additional materials, such as pamphlets and booklets from organizations like the American Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute, and others, available in the Resource Library that are free for you to take.
