This online catalog lists Intuit Art Museum's library of holdings available in the Robert A. Roth Study Center. In-person access is available by contacting Intuit at 312.243.9088 or intuit@art.org to schedule an appointment.
This is a non-circulating collection primarily focused on self-taught art. Its holdings include an extensive and growing library of books, catalogs, periodicals, slides, photographs, films, and other archival materials. As a public resource that complements the Museum’s educational mission, the Study Center is open to students and scholars interested in further research on self-taught art and artists.
The Study Center houses a complete set of writings by Henry Darger on microfilm, generously donated by Kiyoko Lerner. They include all volumes of In The Realms of the Unreal, The History of My Life, The Vivian Girls in Chicago, and other manuscripts.
